New Picture Set: Stern In Purple

I'm delighted to announce a new set of pictures up for sale: Stern in Purple.  These 23 hi-res pictures are of me, in soft purple babydoll lingerie, looking far more strict and stern than I normally do (pictures include two shots of my bare ass, which I can't preview on the blog).

Taken in September 2010, as part of my 40th birthday celebration shoot, I was experimenting with looks and poses. I look happy and relaxed in the vast majority of pictures taken of me, so these should especially be fun for people who like picturing me when I get stern or haughty or angry.... I kinda look all three.

The pictures in the package are at least 2048 pixels in one direction - approximately five times bigger than what's here on the blog. That's a lot of intimidation.
And on the meta-blog side of things, here's my true confession for the week, which should explain why (hopefully!) you're about to see a rash of new picture packages offered for sale: I really want to start producing new photo sets, and technosexual/fembot videos, and recorded listings, but I can't let myself do that until I've listed all the pictures from my September photo shoot first.

Things I learned: taking fewer pictures per shoot is better, in every way. Less overwhelming, I finish packaging them faster, and I don't get bored looking at the same 4 outfits for six months.

So hopefully, for the next week, there will be a flurry of picture set announcements, so that April can be The Month of New Content. Wish me luck, productivity, and a keen eye for detail...

Dear Galiana

Dear Galiana,

I know you love doing things in sequence (and good for you for writing down the steps to creating new picture packages in the right order, so you don't have to figure it all out again every time you do it), but getting stuck on one task is not terribly efficient when there are other things to do.

... especially when the "getting stuck" part involves trying to upload large files while simultaneously populating your new offsite storage location ... with 2.5 GB left to go... How much bandwidth do you think you have, young lady? Hmmm?

Now please stop watching percent-loaded meters stall out, and get some things done.

Love,
Galiana

Call Me Unreliable

As I say on my calendar page, I'm happy to make arrangements to play by request for times outside my general availability. Usually that means during the day.

I have a new caller who likes bimbo-ization hypnosis role plays (he does the yummiest things to me once I'm under), and we agreed to meet today at noon his time, which is 11 am my time.

Last night, the phones were slow until 1 am my time, at which point I got a fantastic call from another new caller who wanted to role play with accidentally being sold into slavery. I know, it's a little tricky to fathom at first, but if you think of two spoiled rich girls in ancient Greece playing a game where one of them dresses as a slave and walks around the market (including walking near the slave market), and the bitchy one who isn't the slave that day thinks it would be funny to threaten to sell her friend... it could happen.

After that call, I went back to work finishing up a new photo set (I'm determined to finish the sets from my birthday before the end of March - longer than six months is too embarrassing). I thought I'd logged out, but no, actually, I hadn't... so I got another call at 3 am my time! It was a regular, who wants me to role play his crush from high school, a role I thankfully know pretty well by now, or I wouldn't have been able to pull it off at 3. Always a pleasure to get engaged and be impregnated in the same night.

Then I set my alarm for the next morning. That, ladies and gentlemen, is where I made my mistake. I should have set the alarm the moment we made the appointment. Because at 3:30-ish am, the only word stuck in my head was: noon.

Noon his time. Eleven my time.

Oops.

Thankfully, he was still around, and we still got to play. And he said it was worth the wait (thank you!) But WOW I hate disappointing. Hate it, hate it, hate it. And after that, I hate it some more.

So if you make an appointment with me, I promise from now on, I'll set the alarm right then.

Who's That Girly Girl (Part 3)

After writing yesterday's Girly Girl blog post, I remembered that I had $100 in SpaFinder gift certificates from a caller. Apparently, at his job, when you do awesome above-and-beyond things, they reward you with these points that you can cash in for gift certificates -- he used his to get me SpaFinder for a post-move stress-release massage. Please, by all means, continue to be awesome at work on my behalf!

Turns out, the place nearest to me that accepts those gift cards also has an exfoliating massage followed by a "Vichy Shower" which looks like this:
That's SEVEN shower heads. I was lying on a rubber mat (which totally made me want to go down a water slide) on a steel bed in a completely tiled room with drains in the floor. The massage therapist scrubbed my body with sea salt and marine botanicals, then rinsed me off with the awesome multi-headed shower thing, then slathered me with a moisture-sealing oil. Then I flipped over and repeated on my front side.

Before I flipped over, I informed her that I didn't care if she saw me naked, because I was a theater major, and I got used to changing in front of a lot of people (my standard line for such situations). She innocently asked, "Do you still do anything with theater?", and I realized that my standard line invites that question... I'll have to rethink that.

So I answered, "Uhhhhhmmmm, kinda, but if you're not in the mood to be shocked, I'll just keep the answer to myself." She practically squealed, "Now you HAVE to tell me!" and so I did, indeed, inform her that I'm a phone sex operator. Her enthusiastic response of, "OH MY GOD that's AWESOME... now I have a thousand questions!" totally made the experience even more fun.

Yes, I told her about you. You, specifically. I'm sure I did. :)

Afterwards, when I was all glowy and happy, with the softest, healthiest skin of my life, I took this picture in the spa robe specifically posed so I could post it on the blog:

I know, the picture quality on my phone is crap, but I'm sure I do a horrible job of holding still when my arms are all post-massage-noodley, and the picture looks fine on the little screen...

You're missing the point, anyway. The important thing here is how happy and relaxed I look! Gawlee!  /hrmph /grin

Afterwards, I desperately needed sexy hands rubbed over all my newly soft skin, so I asked my husband to oblige me, which he kindly did (yay me!). We had a fantastic afternoon romp, and then we went to dinner, which I decided merited a little dressing up (hippie style, of course - it takes more than just being massaged to get me into a cocktail dress), even though we went to a local Tex-Mex dive place where nobody cares what I look like:
The purple ball on the floor squeaks when bitten by rescue mutts. Loudly. So loudly that it is off limits when I'm on the phone. And although it would be lovely if the bed were mussed because of the afternoon hubby-tussling, really, the bed was the site of an epic face-biting puppy war over Who Gets The Purple Ball while I was getting dressed.

Dinner was fantastic, and I'm in an absolutely delicious mood for the evening. Yum.

And that, my friends, is the story of a lovely, girly afternoon of pampering, also known as: "Why I Have Moved SpaFinder Gift Certificates To The Top of My Wish List"

Who's That Girly Girl? (Part 2)

As I mentioned in Who's That Girly Girl?, I was more of a tomboy growing up than a femme girl. Although I always enjoyed dressing up for special occasions, I didn't keep my nails painted, and I valued luxurious food with good friends over luxurious pampering (my first manicure ever was the day before my first wedding - I was 25).

But since I was 30, I've had a tradition with two college friends to go off for a girls' weekend of pampering and relaxation. Every year, someone needs something specific (a brass candle snuffer, a tall thin vase to balance the mantle, the perfect chunky necklace for someone's birthday...), and we all hunt together amidst funky shops to find it.

This year, I wanted glass bead earrings that looked like they were made of wood, to match a fun necklace that I never wear because I don't have good earrings for it. I found them, and then added bracelets, and then a second complimentary necklace so I could get the free gift (a fancy hairband for the daughter of one of my cohorts).

Then when I came home, I finally admitted to myself that I need to bite the bullet and buy my own nail polishes, along with clear top coats, so I can touch up my own manicures and pedicures without having to pay to have them redone.

And while I was finding the nail items, I remembered that I didn't have a good light pink lipstick, and I'd meaning to try lip plumper, since several of the PSOs I follow rave about it...

Which led to this cacophony of absolutely girlishness on my desk yesterday:

That's my desk. Those things are for me. I will use all those things, regularly. That is an accurate representation of a part of me these days.

I wish I could explain to you how weird it is to admit that to myself.

And... how fun.

Dear Galiana

Dear Galiana,

Since the temperature in the Fuckatorium 2.0 is roughly 7 degrees cooler than the rest of the upstairs, please try not to suddenly develop a drinking problem and dribble ice-cold diet coke over your flimsy lingerie.

Love, Galiana

Girls' Weekend Fri-Sun

I'm heading out tomorrow for a long-planned Girls' Weekend with two women I've known since college; it's an annual spring tradition for us to go somewhere fun to browse through cute shops and take a break from our normal lives together.

I was afraid I might have to reschedule due to the sudden move, but I'm back on my feet enough to do it, although the location has changed. Usually we're in some cute Texas Hill Country place (Fredericksburg or Wimberley), but this year, because it's hard on me to travel, they're coming to Houston. So we'll be hitting funky shops and restaurants near downtown, and just skipping the pretty drive.

Sometimes the bluebonnets are blooming in time for girls' weekend, and maybe they are this year already, but I am very unlikely to see them between my place and downtown. So instead of seeing pretty flowers, we'll have cool urban shops, and some amazing grub.

However, I'll be online tonight, so if you want to get your Galiana fix, get it now, or else I'll see you Sunday or Monday!
